The quiz aligned me with Giuliani, Richardson and Thompson before moving any sliders

How did you two end end up with only a one person answer

The other close one for me was Rudy.

    It gave 3 for me:
    Ron Paul
    Fred Thompson
    Mitt Romney

I already know I would not vote for Mitt. He tries too much to speak out both sides of his mouth.

There wasn't. It just put Thompson ahead, with Romney being the next closest.

I was surprised; my views agree most closely with Chris Dodd and John Edwards. I see why from reading the candidate's summary on the issues. I'm kind of a social moderate to conservative, not interested in marriage and abortion being legislated in the Constitution and Amendments, though these are not dealbreakers for me. I don't vote one issue.

My fav is Joe Biden, but I don't agree with him about breaking up Iraq. I think I'm going to have to change my preference based on this quiz.

    Thanks for the interesting post!

I took the quizz last week . Initially it put me in the Huckabee camp but I looked at the qualifiers a little more closely and I'm with Fred. I'll take a Fred /Rudy or Rudy /Fred ticket gladly .

DC , Interesting that Richardson was in that bracket . I've said for a while he was the most qualified Dem.

I finally got through to the first quiz you recommended, and I got a slightly different result.

First, Joe Biden. :)Second and third and fourth(tied) Chris Dodd and John Edwards and Barak Obama.

So, I don't have to change who I prefer as a candidate. Biden is my candidate, and has been for months! :):):)

    TWO great quizzes!

I don't like the answers for the multiple choice I need the option none of the above and all of the above added to that quiz. I got all republicans Mike Huckabee, Tom Tancredo and Mitt Romney. I don't think I like any of the candidates though I think I might have to vote third party.

Fred Thompson comes high on the list on the 2nd test too. That was kind of fun. I do like Thompson.

... but where is Pat Buchanan when we need him? :D

Throw stuff. I'm ducking behind a wall :p

It gave me 3? Without moving the sliders.
Rudy, ron paul, then richardson [huh?]

Can you imagine Rudy saying we need to go kick some butt and get the job done, and his vp saying "what war?"

For me national security trumps my libertarian tendencies [ sic ]

Notice that there where no abortion, gun control questions and that it only gave you a limited number of choices.

    Nice test though, Shy..

tomder55 agrees: that's almost an impossible grouping .

    Why?

Because Dennis Kucinich 's positions are almost across the board diametrically different than those of either Guiliani's and Romney's .

I wrote a lengthy comparison of their positions but askme told me it was too long. Most of the info . Can be obtained by utilizing this site .

COMPARISON OF POSITIONS 2008 AMERICAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES SelectSmart.com| President Candidates: Joe Biden, Elaine Brown, Michael Bloomberg Sam Brownback, Wesley Clark, Hillary Clinton, Chris Dodd, John Edwards, Jim Gilmore, Newt Gingrich, Rudy G

Kuchinch represents the extreme left in his own party . Rudy and Romney are alternately hugging the right and straddling the center .
