I don't know what to do
Im starting a photography degree but I have no knowledge of photography. Should I wait until I get more knowledge before starting a degree?

Evenerml -- your photography degree will help fill in any holes that you have in your knowledge of photography so you don't need to know it all at once, but there is also a lot you can do to educate yourself. First, there are a wide number of books on all sorts of photography topics, so make a visit to the library or bookstore to brush up on some of the more basic principles. Also, ensure that your degree is of the appropriate level for you and will provide some beginner classes to get you going. When we were first starting our photography studio, we also approached photographers that we admired and picked their brains on what worked for them and didn't. If nothing else it was interesting to hear another perspective. And finally, the biggest "trick" in becoming good at photography is simply practice. So get out there and take a lot of photos, and then be sure to evaluate them afterwards on what you do and don't like. Good luck!
