My mum have been separated since I was 7 I am now 18
Mum has had only 2 or 3 boyfriends since then but they all seem to treat her like crap
I really want my mum to find happyness I feel she needs someone
But the thing is she will never go out and drink
Never socialise and I really want to get her out there
She's done so much for me over the years I just want her to be happy
With someone for once. She wears glasses and I know she doesn't like to wear them out
I wish I could get her laser eye surgery I know it would mean so much to her...
Does any one know how I can help her find someone and be happy

To love and care so much for your mom is wonderful.

You obviously have internet access, so try and get your mom interested in it too. Then get her to joint a forum, like this one for instance, and help her get some confidence in herself.

Then, you could maybe get her to join other social groups, not bars.. like bingo, or a church group to get out and meet new people.

By all means, tell her what you told us here and encourage her to share all the good you see in her with others.

And, give her a hug every day.

I think you are wonderful, and I'm sure she does too. So, get her to open up and talk to you about what she would like to do with the time she has when you are off being an 18 year old.
