My grand baby is out of state w/his mother she is farely OK mom but reckless w/his care some.her parent drinks around him I seen one event he choked him w/food.(the grandparent.)while the g/parent wasdrunk.I seen it on myspace.she was telling a friend.she talks about partyin on there but I don't know if she is.I want to know if my son can make her have suppvised visits around her parent to make sure that there is no drinking around him.

I think that if you feel the baby is in danger then The child protective services should be called so it can be looked into

Sounds screwed up to me.
If yout worried confront the parent, if they're really a good parent they'll listen to what you have to say. But don't attack them!!
If it ends up that you are truly worried about your grandchild and that the parent won't adknowledge the danger call D
DFACS. They'll look in to it and if the child is in any real danger take the child away from the parent.
I know that sounds bad, and it is.
On the otherhand you, or another family could be granted custody if the process is completed correctly.
