    Chandelier Wiring
I recently purchased a chandelier for my two-story foyer. The chandelier inexplicably came with a black electrical cord. The chandelier has a silvr leaf finish and I feel that the black wire will stick out like a sore thumb.

I had an electrician look at it and he said it would not be possible to swap the cord out because of the way the chandelier was manufactured. He suggested a cord sleeve, but the only ones I have found online so far look like hair scrunchies. Anyone have any suggestions? Will spray painting work?

    Thanks.

It may take some time but you could paint the cord with an artists paint brush and some silver enamel. It may be very difficult but I doubt that its impossible to swap out that cord. If they can put it in a lamp someone else should be able to take it out, 99% of the time.

Does it look impossible to replace black with silver wire, can you see a way to get into canopy, and light fixture. I don't run into too much impossible stuff, someone did it once?
