Water has no calories, when drinking iced water, your body has to warm it up to use it efficiently, which takes energy, which burns calories.
So, one effect would be that drinking ice water causes the body to burn more calories than drinking room temperature water.
Water flushes our system and removes toxins. Ice cold water makes your body heat it up and this uses energy (calories) to do this. (Thermogenic effect). You can burn up to an extra 100 calories a day drinking a gallon of ice cold water with exercise. 2 Liters of water speeds up your digestion and elimination process.Quote:

When you start drinking closer to a gallon you also have to make a lot (!) of bathroom runs... I hope this makes more sense firmbeliever
