    Property taxes
If property taxes are paid by the person that has leased the land for the last twenty five yrs. Is it still my property?

    Hello froggy:

    If you're the landlord, yes.

The property belongs to the person whose name is on the deed. Paying the property taxes of others is just paying their bill for them.
I would assume paying the taxes was part of the lease agreement.
If they keep a record of the payments, it is possible that they could bill you for it, if you were suppose to have been paying it
