Need to replace broken shower faucet handle
I have a 2 handle shower faucet system. The hot water handle recently broke off just leaving the metal shaft with a phillips head screw at its end. If I turn this screw counterclock wise to remove it, the hot water turns on. What is my procedure to remove and replace this handle with a new one?
    Thanks, David

Use a piece of cloth to protect the end of the stem, then grasp with pliers. Then while holding the stem with the pliers, remove the screw, carry any parts that you can to the plumbing store to obtain a replacement handle.

Excellent advice by Mowerman. Sqirting the threads with WD-40 may help.
    Good luck, Tom
