I have been spotting/ bleeding brown... very very dark brown.. stick and all... its like blode I guess.. anyway it started just when I wiped.. over these two weeks its increased and now I get it all day long.. like an overlasting period... I have cramps and I'm very tired. I don't know what it can be... do you think I have an infection of some sort. Please anyone who's had any similar signs please talk to me about this. In all honesty it could be quite a number of things, prolonged period, infection, STD, just to name three.

As it has gone on for two weeks, you need to see your doctor to have a proper diagnosis.

Are you sexually active? If you are, this could be the beginning of a miscarriage.

Its not an std as I'm married and we use condoms and are both clean... I had a period 26 days ago. My last one was on the 17th of September. I'm having cramps and the brown blood is constant. I have a doctors appt on Monday but I'm just sso worried.. I have cramps and its just not stopping.. its getting more and more.. increased brown discharge and darkening in colour. Its not a miscarriage because we have been using condoms. I've had one before... its nothing like it.. yes I am sexually active.

Okay, if you are sure you are "clean" then we move on to the possible miscarriage issue. There is no form of birth control that is 100% effective. You also don't mention your age, this could be a factor also.

I am happy to hear that you do have a doctor's appointment. Good for you. Being proactive in your health is very important.

I'm 19 years old... My doctors appt isn't undtil Monday but I'm really concerned. We have been using condoms. And yes I'm clean. I make it a habit to get checked. And he's clean as well. We are 100 percent committed in our relationship so I'm positive I don't have an std... I just have to figure this out because I've never had this happen before. Any questions you can ask that you think will help I will be happy to answer.

As I said, since you know you are clean, we may have to deal with the issue of a possible miscarriage. There is no method of birth control that is 100% effective, this includes condoms.

Typically, miscarriage blood is bright red, but this is not ALWAYS the case.

Is the bleeding heavy or light?

Well it started just when I wiped.. that lasted for a week.. I didn't think anything of it really... I started to get cramps.. and the blood is light.. not really heavy... but light as in when you start your period or end... its not like stand up and all the blood comes out... but its increasing... I'm going through 3 underwear today.. since I don't have padds.. and am afraid of putting in a tampon...

You are smart staying away from tampons. I don't recommend them. But you need to get some pads. This is an accurate measure of how much you are bleeding.

With all this new info, I am inclined to believe this is an abnormal period, and all of us women get them once in a while.

Keep your doctor's appointment, even if you stop by Monday. As s/he knows your medical history and can do an exam, that will be the best source of info you can get.

Yeah.. I agree.. I'm off to bed now but I will go to get some pads tomorrow. Although my period isn't due until about October 20th ish.. since I have a longer cycle.. I would have to say I'm going through about 1 pad a day..

Ah, one pad a day is nothing. Just keep your appointment sweetie, I'm sure you'll get some answers then.

    Please keep us posted.
