I have lived here since 22nov06 on a L1 Visa, I have no clue about tax, I don't understand where to start, and I am really confussed, I heard of a FIRST YEAR RESIDENCY CHOICE DEDUCTION what is that, and where do I start? My employers are clueless. I haven't paid a cent yet to tax and I am getting worried that I might end up in trouble.

I did abide here on a tourist visa for a year before my L1 visa came into being.
My company says they are paying everything and that I need to pay the tax man myself.
