    Bath Lights
    Remolding bath.
Will be adding two or three recessed lights OVER Tub/Shower.
I know I need lights rated for “Over Shower/Tub”, wet locations.
I plan on adding a new 20 Amp Breaker for these lights - The panel is in the garage and may be easy to get too.
Question: Can I simply tie onto an existing 20 amp circuit for the lights after going through a GFI receptical?
OR Can I tie onto the in place GFI receptical that's now in the garage?

    Thanks

You may connect lighting to a bathroom outlet, only if the circuit feeding the bath outlet circuit is dedicated for that bathroom, and no other bathroom outlets are on that circuit.

If possible, I think it would be better to have a separate GFI device, whether a breaker, or a dead front device, for the new lights. Any tripping of a GFI outlet will cause the light to go off.
