    Americans entering the Philippines with prior convictions?
    Can an american enter the Philippines with prior convictions?? I have a valid passport and obtainone several years ago with no problem but that was before 9/11 so I was thinking about traveling to asia and wanted to know about Philippines ,singapore,thailand and australia also? but mainly Philippines first.I look online and all I find is you can go but be rejected at obtaining a visa to eneter but does not give specifics on anything.I didn't murder,rape or rob a bank... lol its all driving issues.like drinking and driving ois or dui.
    I had an assault in 1984 but they all count as felonies so id like some information on this.thanks and you can email me at [email protected] or here thanks.. 10/12/07

    I don't know but wanted to say if you do go be very careful of the laws in other countries.
    I have heard so many horrible stories. Within the past year or so I heard of a young guy that was boarding a plane in Thailand to return home to Australia and he had a small joint in his pocket. I didn't really hear much more of what happened but they were talking about hanging him for the crime.
