My period was late and I had had unprotected sex.
Then one day I got cramps,like period pain and one time when I went to the toilet I excreted a fairly large what seemed to be like a clot. But it was not blood,it was greyish in colour and covered in blood. The next time I went to the toilet there was another smaller one...
I have read on other websites that this could have been the placenta and I could have miscarried. I never went to the doctor as the bleeding stopped after about a week.
I was in very bad health at the time,very underweight and had been taking medication for depression and insomnia,so I think I could easily have miscarried as my body would not have been strong enough to carry a baby.
But I still don't know if this was a miscarriage or not? I wonder if anyone would be able to help me answer this?
I would be very grateful as it is all I can think about.

I'm not sure you can ever really know without seeing a doctor.

If you are underweight and on medication, it could also have had something to do with that.

Please let me say first that I am an art teacher, not a doctor but the same thing happened to me about 6 months ago... tho I was in good health, unlike what you wrote about yourself. In my case I went to a doctor the next day and he deemed it was a miscarriage. Again, this is not medical advice, but we shared a similar experience. Take care.

I wouldn't like to say , I would tell you to go to a doctor for a u/s to make sure, all I can say if you have a miscarriage , you don't need to be in pain , you may have seen something like flesh/tissue in the toilet if this is what you saw then I would say it was possible you may have been pregnant. You can always try doing a hpt as you hcg can stay high for several days after although mine showed a negative within an hour of my miscarriage. Hope you get you answers.
