    Fax problem
Reinstalled my HP5610V All-in-one. Fax test says passed but test sheet sounds like it is printing but comes out blank. If I print something it works fine. If I call my fax number I get a connection with the normal tones. I don't have a way to find out if I can successfully receive a fax. Do you know why the test sheet would be blank?

Did you place a fresh ink cartridge in it and failed to pull off the protective tape that covers where the ink comes out?

Not the problem. I tried printing the windows XP printer test page by right clicking on the printer in the control panel in printers and faxes, then properties. Then windows XP test page logo prints, the rest of the page sounds like it's printing but it comes out blank.

If you were to have actually sent a fax with date on the sheet, then perhaps it would have printed the data but a tel call with no data is probably going to give you a blank page. I would be glad to send you a fax as a test but it's probably long distance for me. Maybe you can disclose your city and someone with a fax machine will read this and offer to send a test fax. Can't one go online and send a free fax via the internet rather than using a standard fax machine? I think I have seen such technology. If so, then send yourself a test fax using an online service. Maybe someone knows how this can be done and will answer.

Also, I tried to print the E-mail I received from Ask Me Help Desk, the links printed but the rest of the text is missing. My other printer, printed it completely.

I don't think windows fonts or whatever operating system's fonts you are using are being recognized by your printer. I am getting past my expertise so I suggest waiting on another more qualified person to answer. Good luck.
