I'm redoing my bathroom and want to remove the old vinyl/poly (whatever material it is)shower stahl and redo in tile. I don't know the best way to even start removing it but looks like it's in four pieces; the 3 sides and bottom.

I would take a Saws-All and cut that sucker loose from the wall unless I wished to save it. Regards, Tom

You do realize that unless it will set on a cement floor you will have to change the drain to a flange type shower drain,(see image) and form a shower pan before you can mortar and set tiles don't you?
