I have a concrete floor with the drain pipe installed but there is no trap in it, I am putting a corner shower in and my drain pipe is right over the drain hole for the shower. What I need is how am I going to put a trap in sense there is no offset. I plan on building a wooden floor up 6in. For the shower to sit on to give me more room for the trap. But I am not sure if that will work. I have read here where you say go 45 deg. Elbows for tight places. What I need is a drawing or something on how to do this. If 6ins isn't enough I could go 8 in. but then would have to build a step. By the way it's a 2 in. pvc drain and already vented but they forgot the trap I guess.
Thank you
Bob
