My 1995 honda civic with a 1994 ls motor keeps breaking distributors
I have a 1995 honda civic with a 1994 acura integra ls motor in it. It is all stock and I keep bblowing up distributors. I put one in and drive for about 10 minutes and it starts to misfire and then dies. I try to crank it over and nothing. I check for spark and nothing. Then I put another distributor in and it starts right up then dies again. I need help. I only have 1 distributor left . Can anyone answer my question. The question is what is wrong and what will cause me to keep frying distributors?

Sounds like the ECM and new engine may not be compatible. There are a host of matching issues that need to be addressed, when swapping engines.

Ensure the under-dash and under-hood fuse boxes, main relay, ignition switch and harness, and main wiring harness are compatible with the new ECM and engine.

I have the same problem I went through 2 coils so far. My tach will jump up and down and my car will cut out, sometimes stall. But today my windshield wipers turned on with my headlights and my blinker was blinking really fast, but it goes away and then comes back, my car is also a 1995 civic with a 94 ls motor, but it has a S2 intake manifold, header, and light weight flywheel, I used the integra harness because everything pluged in, but people told me to use my civic harness, what could be causing this, someone please give me something to try

I have the same car and same motor, and pretty much the same problem, only my car isn't just burning coils, sometimes the tach starts to go up and down, and the car cuts out, and today the windshield wipers came on with the headlights and the blinker was blinking really fast, but as soon as I got out of the car it stopped, this keeps happening off and on, and I don't no what is going on, I used the integra harness because everything plugged in, but some people have told me that I should have used the civic one, please help me figure out this problem
