I have a 14 yr old son... he hates me... he has been in out of home placement... back home , tried to be decent... he is soooo disrespectful... calls me names... says he hates me... lies... takes stuff that is not his... does poorly in school when he has the brains to do very well... there is so much I could write... does not accept no... all hell breaks loose when he is told no... he has been in therapy... I have tried everything!. someone tell me what I am doing wrong... what I'm not doing... anything... please... :confused: :eek:

What kind of background are you dealing with? What milestones or traumamatic events have you two been through?

Maybe the problem isn't with him, maybe its with you.
Maybe if you've done something wrong you should apologize. And look at his point of view.
