    older tools
the value of 1960-1970 power tools
I have many craftsman tools left by my father dating from the 1960's to 1970's . They are very heavy but still work. I'm just wondering how much their worth. I can't hold on to them for sentimetal reasons anymore and my son has much newer tools and their much to heavy for me to use. Need some feedback sd to if their worth anything and how much. Ive got drills, ban saw, and other saws. Thanks!

Sorry but these tools are too new to be collectibles for most of us and too old to be useable in the trades. You might think of donating to a charity and get a tax benefit.

Ball is pretty much correct on this I think, but the beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To the right person the items would be worth more than to others.
