I can drive my truck for three days or so and then it will start running rough like it isn't getting gas or getting flooded. It will die if I give it too much gas. It will not start till I let it set about 30 minutes. Then it will run about three days or so and then do it again.

The only thing I have done to it is change the front brake pads three months ago. I went to bleed the brakes and then start the vehicle but I didn't have brakes. A friend of mine thought it was the booster so he disconnected the hose to the booster and plugged it. After driving for several weeks It started doing this so I reconnected the hose and it continues to this day. Please help me! I'm at my wits end.

. Change fuel filter.
. Change spark plugs (Motorcraft only).
. Change distributor cap, rotor, and spark plug wires.

My 1989 F-150 was doing that several years back. After my so called "mechanic" replaced 3 fuel pumps and the computer, towed it about 3 times, ---about 800-900 dollars later I got it back, drove it about 13 miles and it died again. I then took it to someone who took a quick look, called me a little while and said you need a fuel bowl reservoir (I think this is what it was called) about $69 from the dealership and about $45 later I was good to go.

I am no mechanic. This was just my experience. I would drive sometimes for weeks without it dying on me, then sometimes only a few days. It could sit for a few minutes or a day and start up again.
