How long after the date of conception does spotting occur? And is it possible to start spotting 8 weeks after conception?

Not everyone experiences spotting during the early stages of pregnancy. Each pregnancy is different; I had spotting with my first son, but not my second one. Are you spotting now? Have you been proven pregnant by HPT or blood test?

I don't know if I'm spotting now; I just started bleeding 10 minutes ago. I was wondering how long after the date of conception does spotting occur. I have been very late on my period; my last period was July 12th, which makes me 59 days late today, which is weird because I'm usually regular. So I am wondering if this could be spotting or if spotting would have occurred a while back.

Well as I said, not everyone experiences spotting in early pregnancy. If you have not in fact been proven pregnant yet, it might be a good time to take an HPT or get a blood test from your doctor. If you are negative for pregnancy, you need to have a discussion with your doctor as to why your period is so late. :)
