    Leaking Air Conditioning Handler
    Hi,

I live in an apartment. About 3 months ago, my air handler started leaking. I finally got the maintenance guys to look at it and they said the would fix it. When I came home the next day, they had installed a plastic paint roller pan with a pipe running out of it. The pipe is so high in the pan that the water doesn't completely drain out. The wooden shelf the air handler sits on has become very moldy and I am concerned about my health from breathing it.

My question being, is this a proper fix for an air handler? I am determined to get the apartment complex to replace the unit but I need some ammo.

    Thanks for any help,
    Terry

Not a proper fix. Mold is bad. Contact someone in management and get repaired properly.
