I've been experiencing this sharp pain on my back right side. Like right under my ribs.
It worries me most because I am almost 5 months pregnant. Its been happening the past few nights and only during the night, It goes on for about an hour and then goes away only to return later. Its very frustrating because I can't sleep. I'm also breaking out with a lot of bumps all over my body. They look like bug bites but they are allergies. I know this because I used to get them when I was a little girl but Its been a long time. I want to take Benadril but I don't know if it may affect me. I have a doctors appointment next week but I dotn know itf I should worry and go in sooner help please?

You may have a kidney stone. That's about the right spot that you described in your back. And they only hurt when they move, so that may be why it comes and goes. It's been a while since I was pregnant, but I don't think they like you taking Benadryl on a daily basis, however usually it's fine once and a while. Try calling your Doc and asking for a nurse- ask them if you can take Benadryl. And make an appt with your regular Physician and tell them about the pain, an ultrasound (I think? ) can determine if it's a kidney stone. I've only had one, and they just did a urine test and somehow confirmed it was a stone.

This IS a normal problem for pregnant wemon, you may have a kidneystone but I am not sure... I would go to the doctor or call and see if this is something serious

I don't know about the sharp pains-you should call your DR asap! But the bumps are normal.. That's PUPPS rash. Im not sure what it stands for but its normal for pregnant women. And benedryl is OK. Google PUPPS and you can read about it but unfortunately there is not much you can do about it. I put Gold Bond powder on mine to control the itch.

When I was around 5 months pregnant with my daughter I started having the pains you are describing which they got worse a lot worse after my daughter was born I had my gallbladder removed when she was 1 week old.
