Toilet moans when tank filling up so does washing machine
When you flush the toilet in the master bath the pipe sounds moan or vibration sound
It also sounds the same when you fill the washing machine

They are sort of back to back in the walls

I think this started when they installed the new water heater

I had two plumbers come and they changed the guts in the tank and it still didn't help

    Please help

Tom will be back soon to hear your results. This may be caused by a faulty/fluttering washer on the ballcock. Try shutting off the water to the tank and then see if the noise is gone. If the noise stopped it was the washer. Tom will tell you how to repair or replace if that's the problem.

    Hi

Let me explain again. Perhaps I didn't say it right before.

When you flush the toilet and it fills back up and also when you run the washing machine letting it fill with water there is a noise that is the same for both in the wall. Now this is the same noise in the wall behind the bathroom and near the laudry room. It is sort of a moaning or groaning vibration kind of noise.

It seemed to start after new waster heater was installed a month ago.

The plumber who I called replaced all the guts in the toilet tank and it didn't help.
