Hey all, I'm desperately trying to remember this movie I saw some time ago.
It's so stupid of me, but I can only vaguely remember what it was about. Basically, it was a romantic movie about a guy and a girl and about if they get together or not. I think they get together, but they split up because they are not right for each other. I remember in the end the girl sitting in a restaurant with some friends and the guy walks past (or maybe the guy was sitting in the restaurant/bar and the girl came by? Or he/she also sits in the restaurant somewhere else or somehting?) and they either glance at each other or talk briefly, and I remember thinking "oh, now they get back together", but it turns out they do not. They are different people now and don't get back together. It was a pretty recent movie I think, somewhere of the last 5 years or so...

Does this make sense to anyone? Any movie title similar to the description above would be great... thanks!

That sounds like Random Hearts with Harrison Ford and Kristin Scott Thomas. Sorry if I ruined the ending for anyone who hasn't seen it.

I think You're thinking of "Prime" (2005) with Uma Thurman and Meryl Streep. Uma Thurman's character starts dating this guy that's a lot younger then her (17 years I think) and she talks to her shrink about him and her shrink ends up being her boyfriends mom. It's a cute movie, but it does have an unhappy ending, exactly how you described it.

Though wonderwoman helped me to remember that "The break-up" was very similar. Great, thanks again!
