    slope-intercept form and standard form.
    how do I find the slope intercept form of
    (-7,-4); m=-1/2

    and the standard form of
    (-5,2);m=2/5
    (16/3,-9);m=0
    (3,-3);m=-3/8

    Use this formula: y=mx+b.
    You know m=-1/2, so plug that in: y=-1/2x+b
    Now plug in the x and y coordinates and solve
    y=-1/2x+b
    (-4)=-1/2(-7)+b
    -4=3.5+b
    -3.5=-3.5
    -7.5=b

    so this is the equation in y intercept form: y=-1/2x-7.5

    To find standard form I just move the x value to the other side

    y=-1/2x-7.5
    +1/2x=+1/2x
    y+1/2x=-7.5

    So the first problem in standard form is y+1/2x=-7.5

    Now try and do the remaining 3 problems.
