And they always say that if you have an erection for 4 or more hours to see a doctor so I'm guessing that's the limits but if you have small breaks between I don't think that would count right?

It really depends on many MANY factors:

1. as excon said, how attractive is the girl (or guy in some cases)? As shallow as it seems, I don't mean attractive in appearance, but how attractive is the girl TO the guy?

2. in what physical shape are the two partners in? How tired are both partners at the time of intercourse?

3. what'd the guy eat anywhere between 5 - 10 hours before intercourse?

I've lasted anywhere from 20 minutes to 3 hours

20-30, minutes, rest, resume.

Five minutes is average.

Not including foreplay, a recent survey of sex therapists who were asked about length of "adequate" intercourse stated 7-13 minutes was among the "desirable" times.

Personally, if I've done everything right with my mate, concering foreplay.. its mere minutes for her to reach orgasm. Sometimes the orgasm is more intense with more time... but that's not a guarantee.

In my experience, a long time spent in intercourse without proper stimulation can result in friction burns. My goal is to get her off as hard as I can, as soon as I can. Sometimes its sooner than harder, some the opposite.
