    Leak in copper pipe
I have a pin hole in a copper pipe. Does the pile have to be replaced or can the hole be pluggeed withs something?

Depending what is running through the pipe if it is gas a compression fitting is recommended or if it is water a plastic socket is ideal.
Hope this is OK for you

The first thing that would concern me is what caused the pinhole. Electrolysis is one. Aggressive water's another. The pin hole can be cut out and the pipe replaced or, if the pipe's not too ate up a solder patch over the hole be ran. Good luck, Tom
