    Cocker spaniel suddenly off food
My 9 month old ECS has suddenly started showing signs of inappetance. He gets one homemade meal and one Pedigree puppy food (which he likes less and less) a day and he's always wolfed down the homemade food which has rice, veg, ground beef and chicken. Now for the past 3 days I see a dictinct decline in his appetite. We are talking a dog who cleans up every pet's plate, who starts the day with a bowl of milk and dog biscuits and then goes through the day snacking on dog treats, cat treats plus his meals. The only other symptom he has had is a single about of vomiting last night. He always has terrible flatulence after he eats the Pedigree. His fave spot is under the computer and sometimes I have to pinch my nose shut while I work. I will discontinue the commercial dogfood once he completes a year but till then it looks like I may have to put up with a lot of gas. (We don't get many dog food options out here). I gave him some medication for tapeworm last week. I would appreciate feedback. I hope I am over reacting.

If you go to the sticky at https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/dogs/i...tml#post254171
It starts with saying a sudden loss of appetite calls for a vet visit.

I question his diet. Since you are feeding him milk, which he can digest, how much research have you done?
