I think my cat might be pregnant
Hi there, I think my cat might be pregnant. She's only 10months old but her tummy seems to have got a little bit bigger and much firmer also I noticed her nipples have got quite big. She's very much a gentle and friendly cat, but lately she hasn't been going outside as much as she usually does and now follows me around the house. She much more prefers to lye around the house in the sun or snuggle up somewhere then be outside. What do you think?

A responsible pet owner would have gotten her spayed by the time she was six months old.

    Yes, she is probably pregnant.

Excuse me I wasn't asking for your opinion on whether I should have got her spayed, I was asking if she was pregnant or not.
If you hadn't of stuck your nose in and made snarky comments like that you might actually find that I wanted my cat to have kittens for the reason that I want her to have a chance at being a mum and want to keep one of her babies for her company.
Get your facts straight next time!!

I told you that she is probably pregnant.

No animal has to experience motherhood in order to "feel complete". If anything, her life is being shortened, not only because of pregnancy but also because she is an outdoors cat.

If you post on a public board, you will get responses you may not like.

I volunteer at a no-kill cat shelter and have my facts very straight, thank you very much. If only you knew how many cats and kittens die and are killed every day because of irresponsible pet ownership...

Plus, your cat is only 10 months old! That's like a 10-year-old girl getting pregnant... possible, but definitely not the healthiest thing to do. She's still a growing girl herself, and being pregnant is going to be doubly hard on her.

    Pregnet cat please help:confused:

Hi I'm kristina... there is this this 1 year old stray at my house. Me and my cousin have been feeding him. He was not very skinny but I thought he looked a bit to skinny to be pregnet. I read that there nipples turn pink. So I took a look and they looked like it was pink but I'm not sure. It was pink half way through then white then a black speck on the top. I also noticed a bit of dry blood on one of them... it might be my amagination though. I just got him though so I don't know if she's actully that friendly. But she follows me every where!! She is so cuddley too. I read they sleep a lot. She does sleep a lot though but I'm not sure... isn't that normal? Well anybody read this and help me out here because I better find out soon or I don't know what might happen... remember it's a stray.:)
