    Installing Quicktime on win xp
I need quicktime program to view tutorials for school. Have tried everything I can think of. Will down load and begin to install. When it reads"publishing" the wizard is interrupted and process stops. Heeeelllllllllllllp!

    Quicktime
    Hi,
Try installing Quicktime from this link:

    http://www.softwarepatch.com/internet/quicktime.html

It is a "stand alone" version, which will probably install for you. It could be you are trying to install one of the wrong different versions.
If it doesn't work, please post back.
    Best of luck,
    fredg

If you don't like the bulkyness and intrusiveness of the Quicktime player then use QuickTime Alternative: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/...lternative.htm

Works great, doesn't install any startup apps, and uses less resources.

Thank-you so much. I tried the site you recommended, it worked beautifully. Can't tell you how much I appreciate it. :D
