How do I wire up a 91 honda civic lx so both left and right speakers work

Run 2 conductor speaker wire, from speakers to stereo. Hook up to Left, Right, and maybe
Rear speakers(4 pair) connect to stereo. Cap off unused outputs to prevent shorting.
I used to take left front and left rear, tie together, and it would eleminate front/rear fader. Haven't tried modern radios.
