    Breaking a lease
I am being offered a job in Pennsicola,FL and I live in Longwood,FL ,which is
A few miles outside of Orlando,FL. I have a year lease which will not be over
Until March of 2008. I would like to know how I can break the lease legally so
I can take the new job offer. Pennsicola is around 400 miles north of Orlando.

    No, you are stuck.

All is not lost. Go to the landlord and ask for help in sublet-ing your apartment.

Also, ask the landlord to vacate your lease. (Well you can try :))

Have cordial conversations with your landlord. Be pleasant. That's the best way to keep a potential lawsuit at bay.
