    Hello Tessa:

You should start your own thread when asking a new question. Somebody may be along shortly to do that for you.

There aren't any "legal eviction notices". A landlord can probably write it on toilet paper with a magic marker telling you to be out in 3 days. The only "legal" evection notice you need to worry about is one from the court. If you don't appear, then you probably won't get one then. If you're still in the premises after the notice was rendered, the sheriff might show you a copy as he's escorting you to the curb.

Are you a landlord looking to evict a tenant? If so, you can use any format for your initial notice to vacate. You just need to state the reason and a date by which they have to vacate.

If they ignore this notice, then you have to go to court and they will issue the formal eviction notice.

P.S. I moved this to its own thread.

I have used Lawdepot.com If you are looking to evict someone there are several different forms you can download. I had to do a "Notice To Quit", I believe it was $14.95
