Please help!! I have a student who is a germaphobic. He is scared to sit in another student's desk. He spits lots because of certain smells. I just do not know what else to do but tell him to get over it. What do I do?

Does he have any other problems that you notice? Does he count incessantly? Wring his hands? Wash his hands?

I am left wondering if he has OCD as fear of germs is one of the symptoms of a specific variation of OCD.
