    Legal terminology, need to clarify meaning.urgent!
    Please, could someone clarify what this phrase means: "I hereby waive notice, demand and protest in connection with this issue"

    It is on a promisory note I am probably going to sign to pay back a debt owed for property damage.

    A quick answer would be appreciated as this matter is urgent. I thank you in advance for your time.

    It means you agree to everything stated, and you have no recourse or counter claims against them. Your guilty period

    It also means you have given up the right to receive any type of notices (ie. Notice of default in payment) as well as the right for the creditor to first make a demand for arrears in advance of any other action (ie. Commencing legal action).
