How to paint exterior vinyl shutters

    Hello Everyone,
Wanting to know if anyone has the best way of repainting vinyl shutters and I am looking for a satin finish? Do I have to prime first? I would rather not?

I don't know if it's the best way, but when I repainted mine, I striped them of old paint, primed them, then used an exterior latex paint.

I was worried if I didn't go through all the trouble, it would look like
The condition before I painted them shortly after.

I would suggest to at least prime them so the new paint has a surface to adhere to.

Someone else may come along and make another suggestion for you though, so keep checking back.

For the best result you should primer 1st, use a spraying method it's fast, easy and ensures a great result.
