What year is it?? Is it turbo, DIT 7.3l,6.0l?? If it is turbo, I would suggest you take it to someone else. There are too many ways if it is Dit 7.3l or newer, for things to go wrong and you totally ruin your engine.

I really would like to help the people on here, but some of the questions are absurd. Txgreasemonkey gives the same answers all the time for different questions. He knows Hondas, but every Honda doesn't need an igniter or distributor. And every diesel doesn't need a fuel filter.
I agreed with one of your statements this8384. I thought it was knowledgeable and maybe you know what you're talking about. Marjoria too. If you're right I will agree. If you ask a stupid question I will let you know and make you think. To me it's like me asking" How do I pour a glass of Iced tea if it has lemon in it?"
You're right in the sense that if people don't know where their parts are, then they shouldn't be trying to fix it themselves.
However, people come here for advice, not for you to go off on a tirade just because they didn't explain themselves. If you'll notice, I try to get more info on the situation before giving advice because I don't want to steer people in the wrong direction.
If you're so frustrated with people's lack of knowledge, then stop reading the questions. Nobody is forcing you to come here.
Poleman: We all can learn from a manual or two, anwers from several auto parts counter-persons with computers / printout for hands-on reference and quite possible Holy Bible or others. Clean, organized work area, some hand tools, torquer, cleaning flued non-flammable, good lighing, paper towels / cloths. And 4 time the alloted work effort required by experts, O yes keep a Rol-O-Dex / cell phone #s. LUCK.
