If it's a light red its really nothing to worry about. But did it hurt when you noticed the blood? What I mean is did it feel like you had a scab that was pulled on until ripped open? If that's the case then its most likely anal tearing. I noticed some real light blood in the toilet with my stool and it felt as though I had a few scabs around my anus that were pulled apart. I went to the doctor and they confirmed that that's what it was. But it might not be the case with you. But yes deff go to the doctor.
