    Beagle puppy
I have a 9 week old beagle that is acting sick about every 2 or 3 days, he eats good for a while then he stops eating and acts sick. His stomach growns a lot during this time and his stool is loose and today he has been throwing up. He picks at his food and then he spits it out and or burries it. I don't know if maybe I should change his food or try something else. I have called the vet and he has not called back yet I am deperate he is like a child to me and I hate to see him sick. Please help.. :(

If he is eating a dry commercial dog or puppy chow, I wouldn't change it. It is rare for such a chow to be causing problems. Suggestions otherwise likely come from somebody selling something else.

I think he really needs to see the vet. Do you see any foreign material when he throws up? Foraging indigestibles is a common problem. Does he raid the trash? If he is outside unsupervised, are there things to get into?
