    80's Kids Movie Title
Does anyone remember a movie about kids who live in a place where it rains all of the time, except for one day every 100 or 1000 years or something? For some reason the main charater is forced to miss the one day of sun by other kids who pick on him. I can't remember the title, or anything else about the movie, any help would be appreciated.

I believe that was an episode of Ray Bradbury. They locked the main character in a closet or something.

I think that we are thinking of the same thing... I remember the boy being locked in a closet, but I am not sure that it was an episdode of "The Ray Bradbury Theater". I found an epidsode guide here:

But the episode that seems the closest doesn't sound like the same thing:

    #56 The Long Rain
A spaceship crash-lands on a planet where it is constantly
Raining. The survivors try to make their way to the Sundome that
Has been established on the planet.

I know it was one of those type of shows. I also remember reading it in school a long time ago as a short story because I remember reading the ending about how the classmates forgot (in the story, the main character was a girl) and how they quietly ran back to the closet to let her out while the whole class looked quilty.

In the story, the girl was new to the class, and wherever she was from, she must have saw the sun, so kids teased her about it since they never saw it.

I remember this as a story I read, probably something they later turned into a movie or as part of some kind of series.

    The answer to your question:
Here's a link to the story:

I'd been looking for this film for a long time myself. I saw it in school and it really stuck in my memory. I saw your post and it made me do some searching on the internet tonight.

You can order it from a company on DVD, but it's $55 or something. Check out a link on the Ray Bradbury board where people talk about it:
