Dogs chewed up thermostat wire's to outside ac unit sm gauge (about 20) soilid strand wires, Yellow, white, green, the yellow & white were simple to reconnect, white tingled a little, green is the problem. Where does the green one go or what does it attach to inside the outside ac unit, trane I think.

You only need to connect 2 of the wires, often yellow and blue. Go to the furnace and identify the 2 wires connected to the Y and B or C terminals. Connect those to the relay coil terminals at the compressor. Make sure the dog can't chew the power feed.
