    Porcelain vs Ceramics tiles
    Hi
I was wondering if anyone knows how to distinguish a ceramic tile from a porcelain one. Cheers

The thickness way be on way, ceramic tiles are usually thinner, from 1/4 to 3/8 and porceilain are 1/2 or so. You also should be able to tell just from the finish being a more natural look,

If your question is if you install the cheaper ceramic will you notice or will the floor not look as good... they make a lot of really nice looking ceramic tile that looks great,
The majority of the floors we do are ceramic, only 3 out of 10 will use porcelain,

Porcelain is more durable in my opionion
