    Consent judgement
I have received a phone call from an attorney about a credit card debt for 6500.00. She offered me a payment plan if I signed a consent judgement. This would go on my credit report as a judgement. If this is the case, why offer payment. I was ill and ot behind but could make payment now.

It does not seem right to pay and agreeto judgement. What happens if I ignore them . Dothey file a judgement anyway?? Can they take my car> that is all I own.

    Thanks

If you sign an OK for a judgement, they can come back and do anything they can do if they take you to court. If you want to agree to the payment plan, offer to agree to the payment plan but not to the judgement, if they refuse, use that as evidence if they take you to court
