I am looking into artificial nails. Do they damage your natural nails and if so, which is the least damaging.

I have acrylics on ma nails and when I take them off I freak because of the state of my nails which is why I carry on getting them done. I found the least damaging ones are gels but they won't last as long as acrylics

What are silk nails?
