    Free Fall
    A rock is thrown up with a speed of 22.0m/s
    a. Determine its maximum height
    b. determine the time it takes to reach its maximum height
    c. determine its velocity after 1.50s
    d. determine its velocity when it reaches a height of 10.0m

    Please help!

    You are studying and you need to try and find an answer this numerical yourself

    Am sorry for being blunt but do it yourself. Read your book and try.

    (NB: By x^2, I mean square of x)

    These are the formulas that will help you for each part of the questions:

    1. v^2 - u^2 = 2as

    s = height =? v = final velocity = 0, u initial velocity = 22, a = acceleration = -g

    Now you can find s

    2. v = u + at

    v = final velocity = 0, u = 22, a = -g

    This will give you value of time t

    3. v = u + at

    u = 22, a = -g, t = 1.5

    4. v^2 - u^2 = 2as

    u = 22, a = -g, s = 10
