Boils and scabs on my scalp
For the last 12 years I have been experiencing boils, itchy, bleeding, hair loss where there is no follicle on my scalp. I am 30yrs from Caribbean descend. I have done every thing that the doctor requires and yet no solution. What can I do to stop this as it has now started to spread allover my scalp?

Go to a Dermatologist as soon as you can. Try a tar based shampoo every other day and also use Original Listerine. Saturate your scalp with this product then wait 10 minutes and rinse with warm water. Try this 2 or 3 times per week. Change pillow cover every day. Do not scratch your scalp. To control itching take a antihistamine tablet at bed time. Avoid wearing a hat and keep your finger nails as clean as you can. Use a finger nail brush. Do you have house pets? Do you work with animals or soils?

I have tried those steps before and yet I have no improvement. No I do not have any pets or work with them. Is there any thing else that I can try?

    Thanks

May be fungal. You should see a Dermatologist ASAP. In london you may wish to talk with the Lagrange Scalp Clinic at 020 74678 341 or 020 83412 945. Modest charge for interview. If this is a fungus the symptoms could be similar to those of bacterial infections and when one uses antiseptics for extended periods fungus will have a good environment to populate. Good luck
