    Sexual activity between male dogs
I have a male pitbiull and another male pit bll mixed mut. They are both males and latly have been licking each others genitalia. I was wondering if this was normal. And also if a male dogs genitalia gets stuck out what should ou do and does it hurt the dog?

I am sure if it gets stuck out it will hurt. Yes, male dogs will hump each other and lick each other. How much from sexual pleasure I am not sure. I know they will do it because of dominance issues. You will be doing both of your dogs a favor if you get them neutered. Male dogs that are neutered have less aggression issues . There are also different health issues that effect intact males that neutering can prevent. Here is a link that talks about the benefits of neutering. ASPCA: Dog Care

If they aren't neutered, getting them neutered will reduce there obsession with each others genitalia. It is largely dominance rather than sexual, but neutering helps with that too. Don't be concerned about the ''sticking out''. You should be seeing less of it if you neuter them.

Providing them with better leadership is important too. The key to most behavior problems is approaching things using the dog's natural instincts. Dogs see all the people and dogs in the household as a pack with each having their own rank in the pack and a top dog. Life is much easier if the 2 legged pack members outrank the 4 legged ones. You can learn to play the role of top dog by reading some books or going to a good obedience class. A good obedience class or book is about you being top dog, not about rewarding standard commands with a treat.
