And even punk. Is portrayed as a halloween costume.

I think its funny personally but I'm not goth or anything. Its halloween, and how can you be a "Goth"? Just wear all black? That doesn't mean anything
I don't see it any more offensive than a princess or a witch.
When my kids were little I dressed my one daughter up as a hippie with my tie die tee shirt and a bunch of bead necklaces I don't think goth is any more offensive than anything else.
My friends and I dressed up as gypsy, hobo, hippy and 50s when I was in school. Now, I guess I would be offending someone.
Mehhh I guess,
I find goth to be a funny halloween costume 365 days of the year. :)
Now, that was clever! :pQuote:

Yea but culture and style are different
Okay, it usually isn't until someone starts with the really offensive comments. I won't say any because they are very innapropriate, but it can be offensive. BTW: if goth is a funny costume to you, what do you think the goths think of what you wear. DO you wear a pink little skirt with you butt hanging out? Those are pretty ridiculous. They CAN BE VERY offensive. Dress up like that fine- make fun of it- NOT fine... grow up and quit making fun of those of us that do what we do, how we want to do.
