    Cavitys and other things
Today I have to go to the dentist and it scares me a lot. I was wondering how can you tell if you have a cavity, I feel no pain in my mouth and my mom looked in my mouth and didn't think she saw one, also if you can find a picture of a cavity please tell me.

A cavity often can only be seen on an x-ray and cause no pain if caught early. Don't worry about it they are common and pretty painless to have filled.

The dentist will probably take xrays( bitewings) to check for decay between the teeth. If the dentists tool (explorer) sticks or tugs in the biting part of the tooth there is probably a cavity in the tooth. Teeth will sometimes be sentsitive to sweet or cold if there is a cavity in the tooth.
